Manx blues guitarist Davy Knowles will take part in a concert next month which pays tribute to one of his musical idols.
He will line up alongside the Les Paul Trio for a concert in New York on May 23 to mark the life and work of the late Irish bluesman Rory Gallagher.
The night will begin with a panel discussion and slideshow featuring family members, music critics, and historians.
Following the talk, the Les Paul Trio will take the stage with special guests including Knowles and a string of other guitarists, including Innes Sibun (Robert Plant), Jimmy Suhler (George Thorogood), Scott Holt (Buddy Guy), Roger Earl (Foghat).
