Breast care group opposes changes

An action group set up by local breast cancer patients is inviting people to get involved as it campaigns against proposed changes to breast care services in the isle of Man.

The Department of Health plans to replace a specialist breast cancer surgeon with a general surgeon who has an interest in breast cancer work.

But politicians and patients have expressed concern over the move, which has led to the group's formation.

One of its founders, Julie Stokes, is hoping people will back what they are doing (play audio file):
