Robin on the way to full recovery

by isleofman.com 13th April 2011

It's being reported Bee Gee Robin Gibb is set to make a full recovery from the crippling abdominal pains which forced him to cancel a series of concerts in Brazil.

The 61-year-old Manxman was recently rushed to hospital with the problem.

A statement, released through his spokesman, says he is at home recuperating and is expected to be fine once that's complete.

Gibb had to have part of his intestine removed last year.

Complications resulting from a twisted intestine led to the death of Robin's twin brother Maurice in 2003.
