POLICE are investigating a hit and run road traffic collision in Douglas.

A blue Vauxhall Astra, which was parked near to The Legion on Market Hill, was scratched on the driver's side between 11pm on Monday and 7pm yesterday.

Green paint has been transferred onto the vehicle as a result of the collision, leading the police to believe the damage was caused by a vehicle of this colour.
