Unusual failing of bus fleet revealed

by isleofman.com 12th April 2011

Some of the Island's double decker buses are unable to go out in the rain.

The bizarre revelation was made by the Community, Culture and Leisure Minister David Cretney during question time in Tynwald today (Tuesday).

He was explaining why there could be a shortage of buses at times, leading to some services being late or not turning up at all (play audio file):

A number of new buses are due to be brought into service in June.
