No barriers to car park success!

Work has begun on converting Douglas Borough Council's three car parks from pay and display to barrier operated.

The facilities, at Shaw's Brow, the Bottle-neck and King George 5th Park, should be using the new system by the end of next month.

The council has been contacted by a number of disabled drivers, worried about how they will get past the barriers.

Works Committee chairman David Ashford says there is no need for concern:
