Conister Bank launches fixed rate, fixed term accounts

by isleofman.com 11th April 2011

CONISTER Bank, the Isle of Man's only independent bank, has launched a new range of fixed rate, fixed term savings accounts.

Available to both new and existing customers, these attractive new rates offer depositors the facility to earn a fixed rate of return for periods of between one and five years.

The rates offer a competitive interest rate of up to four percent AER and will provide Conister Bank savers with a secure certainty of returns on their savings.

Douglas Grant, acting managing director of Conister Bank, said: "As uncertainty continues in the Bank of England base rate, these savings rates provide an uncomplicated reassurance of return for savers.

"Investing with Conister Bank offers customers the advantage of the bank's attractive new interest rates which offer a superb return along with the security of saving with one of the Island's most trusted and longstanding financial institutions."

The fixed term savings accounts are available for deposit from just £10,000 to a maximum of one million pounds.
