Double delight for the Manx in Division Two

by isleofman.com 9th April 2011

Ramsey and Douglas both recorded rare away wins to keep the flag flying in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two.

Ramsey clipped the wings of high flying Ruskin Park winning 27-26.

Tries from Lance Wyllie and Ben Harding gave Ramsey a solid platform but the hero was kicker Fintan Cummins who kicked three penalties, two drop goals and a conversion to seal the game.

Douglas won 24-10 away at Sefton in a potentially tricky fixture.

Christian Brew bagged a brace of tries for Douglas and there was also a try from youngster Callum Carine.

Tim Mitchell converted all three tries and added a penalty for good measure.
