Black back for Parish Walk talk

by isleofman.com 7th April 2011

Former world 400m champion and Olympian Roger Black MBE is back on the Isle of Man, to support the 2011 Scottish Widows Parish Walk.

He is giving a motivational talk to anyone who has entered, or is a potential walker, at the Manx Museum this evening (Thursday).

It's being stressed entry will be on a first come first served basis, as demand is likely to be high.

Black had his first taste of the Parish Walk and life on the Island last year, and it left an impression (play audio file):

Registration for the talk is at 5.30pm and it's due to run for an hour, from 6pm.
