Gay campaigner says Island could have gone further

Human rights activist Peter Tatchell has welcomed the arrival of a new era of civil partnerships in the Isle of Man.

But he says the Island could have taken an even bigger step by sanctioning gay marriage.

He says it would have shown the Island as a progressive nation, and offered some practical benefits as well:
