The chairman of the Isle of Man Post Office is describing the current row over pay as a 'blip' and hopes there is a resolution on the horizon.
Alan Crowe believes if there is good will on both sides during talks scheduled for today (Wednesday), Post Office management and the Communication Workers Union could work out a way forward.
The CWU wants employees to be given a pay rise for their hard work, but the Post Office says that's impossible because of the government public sector pay freeze.
Strike action by more than 200 workers is set for next Tuesday (April 12).
