A FORWARD Ladies event on Managing the Employee Life Cycle takes place later this month.

It will be held on Wednesday, April 13 at the Claremont Hotel, Douglas, from 5.45pm to 7.30pm.

Human resources expert Gail Yeowell, owner and managing director of Smart HR Solutions, will explain how businesses can get their recruitment, staff performance and HR policies into shape.

She will present an overview of managing recruitment and selection activities, inducting a new employee, setting clear objectives and expectations, managing performance to get the best from a team, development, succession planning and managing leavers.

Refreshments and food will be served upon arrival and the presentation starts at 6pm.

Gail is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a Fellow of the Institute of Administrative Management and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
