Hen harriers pulled from The One Show

by isleofman.com 5th April 2011

RESIDENTS who were expecting to see the Island's hen harriers on television last night will have been disappointed.

The birds were supposed to be featured on Monday's edition of The One Show on BBC One.

However those who tuned in will know that they were not.

A spokesperson for the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture said: "Unfortunately this item was pulled from the programme at the last minute without our knowledge. It is hoped that the Manx hen harriers will be featured later in the month and we will confirm when this is to be."
