Strike can still be stopped, says union official

There's still time to stop next week's proposed strike by Isle of Man Post Office workers.

So says Communication Workers Union representative Terry Pullinger, who was speaking live on Mandate on Manx Radio this morning.

It had been announced staff would stage a 24-hour walkout next Tuesday.

Mr Pullinger says regulations mean they had to call the strike, but added that it may not go ahead, depending on the outcome of impending talks:
