THE 119th Manx Music Festival is well underway.
The competitive music, speech and dance festival, known locally as The Guild, started on Saturday.
There are numerous classes taking place ranging from Manx folk dancing, bible readings, songs from the musicals and poetry recitals.
Monday's classes include Girls Solo, Popular Standard Song from 1930 to present, Adult's Operatic Solo, Adult Folk Song, and Reading from the Bible.
Tuesday's classes include Vocal Ensemble, Girl's Solo, Bible in Manx, Group Theme, Character study and Coral Speaking.
Wednesday's classes include String Class, Electronic Keyboard, Plucked Instrument, French and Italian Song and Duologue.
Thursday's classes include the Recorder Solo, Recorder Duet, Song's from the Musicals, and Adult Reading at Sight.
Friday's classes include Popular Standard Song, Mixed Voice Duet, Operatic Duet and Character Study.
Saturday's classes include Folk Song, Gaelic Choirs, Ladies Choirs and Open Concert Class.
The culmination of the festival is the Cleveland Medal Test on the evening of Saturday, April 9, which sees the winners of the solo classes compete for the Cleveland Ohio, Manx Society's Gold Medal.
The competition is open to the public. All classes are held at The Villa Marina in Douglas.
