'Little new' added to euthanasia debate

by isleofman.com 4th April 2011

The politician who chaired a House of Keys select committee examining the issue of voluntary euthanasia says both sides of the argument should be considered calmly.

Rushen MHK Quintin Gill was speaking after a weekend of talks from Dr John Ling from a United Kingdom pro-life organisation.

Dr Ling addressed Tynwald members, groups of teachers and local clergy, and spoke at public seminars.

Mr Gill believes opposing and supportive views should be treated with respect, but says little new was learned from Dr Ling’s visit.
