New poetry book to help pre-school centre

by isleofman.com 3rd April 2011

An Island mum is hoping to raise hundreds of pounds for a children’s centre in Pulrose – after writing a book of poetry about her son.

Alice Bion says cash raised through sales of Samuel Now Loves To See The Trees will go to the Pre-School Assessment Centre in Pulrose which helps young children with learning problems.

The book was launched on Friday night at Rushen Primary School’s Easter Fair in Port Erin.

Alice says the poems are very close to her heart.
