Shennaghys Jiu starts next weekend

THE Shennaghys Jiu Celtic Youth Festival starts on Friday (April 8).

 

One of the highlights will be a concert on Saturday (April 9) at Scoill Ree Gorree Theatre, Ramsey, featuring folk and dance group Highly Flung from Edinburgh, Manx band King Chiaullee and group Smack The Donkey from Ireland, among others.

 

Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for children.

Saturday, April 9


Noon - Food and Folk, Mitre Hotel, Ramsey


3pm - Bree Youth Trad Music Session, Ramsey Town Hall


7.30pm - Concert, Scoill Ree Gorree Theatre, Ramsey

 

Sunday, April 10


2.30pm - Acoustic concert, St Johns Church

 

8.00pm - Ceilidh, Masonic Hall, Ramsey

 

Monday, April 11


12 noon - Food and Folk, Trafalgar Hotel, Ramsey

 

8.00pm - Rocking at Bar Logo, Ramsey
