by isleofman.com 1st April 2011

Final preparations are being made for the 119th Manx Music Festival, the Guild, which starts tomorrow (Saturday) morning.

The biggest music event in the Island's calendar will once again be based at the Villa Marina.

Over the next week, around 1,400 entrants of all ages, including hundreds of schoolchildren, will compete for a range of awards in music, speech and dance.

Once again Judith Ley will be reporting from the event for Manx Radio (play audio file):

Judith will be presenting daily highlights from the Manx Music Festival in 'Today at the Guild', which starts at 9pm.

She will also be providing updates on Mandate each weekday morning and chatting to John Hines at 3.30pm each day next week.
