Welsh legend Bennett at Vagas dinner

One of the greatest Welsh rugby players of all-time will be the guest speaker at a Vagabonds fundraising dinner at the Palace Hotel this evening (Friday).

Phil Bennett was part of the all-conquering Wales side of the 1970s.

He started the move that led to what some consider the 'greatest try ever' in the 1973 Barbarians win over the New Zealand All Blacks at Cardiff Arms Park.

Bennett is impressed by Vagabonds' new ground and clubhouse at Ballafletcher:
