Boston Limited appoint Philip Knop as director

BOSTON Limited, the corporate service provider division of Boston Group, has appointed Philip Knop as director.

 

Headquartered in Circular Road, Douglas, and employing more than 50 people, the group's operations encompass Boston Limited, Boston Tax Limited and Portal Fund Administration.

 

Philip brings to Boston Limited a high level of tax expertise as well as the proven ability to develop new business initiatives and the vital relationships that accompany this role. 

 

He is a qualified chartered tax adviser and chartered certified accountant primarily specialising in UK and local tax and also has international and cross-border tax experience. 

 

Philip said: "I am excited at the prospect of joining such a well-respected business which has developed enormously since its inception in 2002.

 

"It is clear the current directors and management team at Boston Group are ambitious and forward thinking and are ready to take the group to the next level.

 

"It is a strategy that I want to help shape and I readily accepted the opportunity when it was presented to me."

 

Philip joins Boston having previously held the position of senior manager - tax at Equiom and prior to that was the tax manager at Grant Thornton in the Isle of Man.

 

He moved to the Isle of Man with his wife, Myska, in 2000 and they have three young children, Isobel, Emily and Thomas.
