The cut and thrust of political debate in the House of Keys could get a little sharper, if MHKs vote to amend their standing orders today (Tuesday).
The Standing Orders Committee is proposing changes to the way debates are conducted, with the introduction of a new 'intervention' rule.
The change would mean members could interrupt each other during speeches, which is not currently allowed.
