Amenity site petition meeting

A meeting arranged after the recent presentation to the Manx government of a 600-name petition is being held today (Tuesday).

It's about the running of the newly refurbished Western Civil Amenity site at St John's, and will be chaired by political member of the Department of Infrastructure Graham Cregeen MHK.

The recent sacking of two site officers, on age grounds, is thought to be at the heart of the matter.

But Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne's main concern is what exactly the concerns are:
