by isleofman.com 28th March 2011

There was significant disruption to rush hour traffic on the main road between Douglas and Peel this evening (Monday), after what police described as a serious accident outside the Hawthorne pub in Greeba.

The stretch from Ballacraine to Crosby was closed for about two and a half hours, from 4.30pm.

No details have yet been released about the vehicles or the condition of those involved.

The road reopened at around 7pm, at which time the route five and six bus services resumed.
