by isleofman.com 28th March 2011

Ritchie McNicholl is to be Mayor of Douglas for a fourth time.

Colleagues have elected the long-standing councillor to the role for the second successive year.

Mr McNicholl previously held the position for the two municipal years from 2003 to 2005.

His latest term in the hot seat starts on May 11, when the 2011 to 2012 municipal year begins.

He will be formally re-installed as mayor at the town hall on that day.
