New training and development co-ordinator at Manx Telecom

by isleofman.com 26th March 2011

MANX Telecom has appointed Emma Walker as training and development co-ordinator.

Emma joins the company's existing human resources department based at Manx Telecom's Isle of Man Business Park headquarters.

Emma said her decision to join Manx Telecom - which was recently 88th in the Sunday Times best 100 Companies to Work For list - was influenced by her experience of the company as a customer.

She said: "As a customer I have always been hugely impressed by the warmth and high standard of service I have experienced from everyone I have ever dealt with at Manx Telecom.

"My first impressions since joining the company have matched the experiences I had as a customer and I'm now enjoying making my own contribution to the business."

She said she has been 'overwhelmed' by the level of help and support she has been offered in her first few weeks at the company.

Prior to joining Manx Telecom Emma worked as personnel and training manager at AXA Isle of Man and earlier in her career worked in the recruitment industry.
