by isleofman.com 25th March 2011

A NEW date has been set for the Ali Campbell concert.

The former frontman of UB40 was due to perform at the Villa Marina, Douglas, last night (Thursday, March 24) but the gig was postponed due to "unavoidable operational issues".

The show has now been re-scheduled for August 23. All ticket holders are being contacted to inform them of this change.

As a founding member of UB40 - one of the most successful reggae bands in the world - Ali Campbell is famous for iconic tracks such as Red, Red Wine and Kingston Town.

Tickets are available for the August date priced at £32.50 plus any relevant booking fee. These are on sale at the Villa Marina, the Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal, by ringing the ticket hotline on 01624 600555 and they will be available online later today.
