Find out what's On Your Doorstep at new exhibition

by isleofman.com 25th March 2011

AN exhibition highlighting the many things to see and do in the Isle of Man will take place at the Villa Marina tomorrow.

Isle of Man Tourism is holding its first "On Your Doorstep" exhibition which will showcase the wealth of attractions, activities and events that the Island has to offer all year round.

It is hoped that by experiencing what is available residents will then recommend the Island to visiting friends and relatives.

Exhibitors on the day will include Isle of Man Railways, Adventurous Experiences, Curraghs Wildlife Park, Milntown and Isle of Man Cycle Hire plus many others.

Allan Bell MHK, Economic Development Minister, said: "The Isle of Man has a wide variety of attractions and activities for everyone to enjoy and the On Your Doorstep exhibition will be a splendid opportunity for residents to come and talk to business representatives from all over the Island.

"I hope people will take the opportunity to come along and enjoy the displays and schedule of activities taking place throughout the day and spread the word to friends and relatives so they too will visit and see everything our magnificent Island has to offer."

A number of exclusive offers will be available to tempt residents to try something new and there will also be live music, birds of prey and face painting.

The On Your Doorstep exhibition takes place at the Villa Marina in Douglas tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am to 3pm. Admission is free.

The exhibition is being held in association with 3FM. For more information visit www.isleofman.com/onyourdoorstep.
