Gavin added: "The internet and other digital channels are increasingly playing a role in the marketing of local businesses. At isleofman.com we can provide advice and assistance across a range of activities covering search engine marketing, link building, PR coverage, social media and mobile content. This is all backed by 11 years of experience operating one of the Island's largest, longest established and most visited websites."

David Le Prevost, managing director of isleofman.com, concluded: "This is strong evidence of our investment over the last few years to create and distribute content and information that attracts real site traffic.

"The launch of our new Apple news app is the latest such investment and is already showing good uptake with over 185 downloads during its soft launch.

"Across all channels our content always relates to the Isle of Man – we do not publish material or accept advertising from elsewhere and so can always guarantee a 100 percent Manx experience for our visitors."
