by isleofman.com 23rd March 2011

THREE members of staff at Moore Stephens Isle of Man are celebrating exam successes.

Fiona Moore, a senior administrator at the company, is now an associate member of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

She said: "My qualification confirms my training in law, finance, accounting, strategy and governance and, just as importantly, I have the hands-on practical experience to comply with the Institute's codes of best practice."

Matt Corlett, an audit senior, is now part-qualified with The Institute of Chartered Accountants In England and Wales.

He said: "The qualification has definitely given me solid grounding in how different businesses work. I’m keen to start applying the theory."

Lynsey Clague, HR executive, passed the Edexcel Advanced Professional Diploma in Organisational Learning and Development.

She said: "It has helped me a lot already. My diploma has taught me to manage organisational knowledge, training strategies and individual and organisational development."

Clive Dixon, senior partner at Moore Stephens, said: "All three of these exam successes are impressive especially when you consider that it required sitting a total of 32 exams. It tells you a lot about the character of people who are willing to do that – we're proud to have these dedicated people on our team."
