Iconic vehicle returns for fundraiser

by isleofman.com 22nd March 2011

It will be a case of 'two wheels good, three wheels Trotter' at the TT this year.

Racing Team Hallett Aviation is bringing over one of the original Robin Reliant three-wheeled vans used in the classic TV sitcom Only Fools and Horses.

The iconic vehicle is being used to raise cash for Help the Heroes, and after its Isle of Man visit owner Darren Abey is taking it on a tour of all 20 English Premiership stadiums.

Mr Abey hopes to raise as much money as possible for the armed services charity and it won't be the first visit to the Island for the Reliant (play audio file):

Mr Abey is hoping to raise even more money this year and is looking for sponsors and donations to help get over to the Island.

Anyone who would like to help can visit onlyfoolsandheroespremiershiptour.org or ring Mr Abey on 07861 666 868.
