Step out for Breakthrough Breast Cancer

by isleofman.com 21st March 2011

THIS year's Crocus Walk to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer will take place on Sunday.

The walk, which has now been renamed as Step Out for Breakthrough, will help to raise vital funds for the national charity.

This year the walk will start at the Little Mill end of Molly Quirks Glen and will proceed through to Groudle Glen before doing a loop and finishing back at the Little Mill.

Anyone can take part in the walk - you don't have to be a fitness fanatic to enter - all you need is a spare couple of hours, a love of the outdoors and the drive to raise some money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Breast Cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in the UK with nearly 1,000 women dying of the disease each month.

People who would like to take part in Step Out for Breakthrough walk should part on School Road and walk to the start.

The walk will start at 2pm. For more information contact Kim on 07624 486538.
