Pirates and princesses at Foxdale School raise money for Comic Relief

FOXDALE School has raised more than £200 for Comic Relief.

 

Headteacher Ann Jessop said: "We had a a princess and pirate themed day with cakes on sale and a design a red nose competition.

 

"Hopefully we have raised a good amount for the appeal - at least £220 and still counting."

 

A record £74m was raised on Red Nose Day on Friday.

 

The Comic Relief charity spends the money raised by the public to give extremely vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the UK and Africa a helping hand to turn their lives around.
