by isleofman.com 21st March 2011

JUNIOR Achievement Isle of Man is looking for budding adventurers to take part in a trek in the Grand Canyon to raise money for the charity.

Participants will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to trek through one of the natural wonders of the world and camp with native Havasupai Indians.

Junior Achievement Isle of Man is hosting a presentation by representatives from challenge organiser Global Adventure Challenges at the Sefton Hotel lecture theatre, Douglas, on Thursday, April 14 from 5.45pm to 6.30pm.

All budding explorers are invited to attend to learn more about an adventure that will change their lives and boost Junior Achievement Isle of Man's funds to help equip young people of the Isle of Man with essential skills for when they leave full-time education.

Open to anyone over the age of 17, the challenge is from May 12 to 19 2012.

To book a place at the presentation or to learn more about the challenge call Tina Edge on 666266, email tina@jaiom.im or visit www.jaiom.im
