MEDS phone service needs improving, claims pharmacist

There’s strong feeling health chiefs should revert back to a queuing system for patients contacting the Manx Emergency Doctors Service.

That’s the belief of a pharmacist in Ramsey after he asked members of the public for their views of MEDS.

Former MHK Leonard Singer sought opinion after complaints patients were struggling to speak to a doctor at the out of hours service.

He says his findings show a desire to return to a queuing system.
