Pressure group flags up transport issues

by isleofman.com 19th March 2011

Anyone with strong views on travel issues affecting the Isle of Man is being urged to attend a public meeting this morning (Saturday).

Pressure group TravelWatch is holding the latest of its six-monthly forums at the Villa Marina.

The organisation has carried out an online survey to assess the views of the public, ahead of the House of Keys general election on September 29.

Committee member Dick Clague says it's important to give candidates plenty of notice about what's on voters' minds (play audio file):

Doors open at 9.30am, with the meeting starting half an hour later.
