The owners of vintage Manx railway stock are facing a serious problem in their campaign to ensure the collection survives.
The Isle of Man Rail and Tramway Preservation Society has been told the items, including a locomotive, coach and two MER vehicles, must be removed from rail sheds owned by the Leisure Department by next week.
The Society says it's found a home for the vehicles in a United Kingdom railway musuem, but taking them off the Island could require a licence, which is only usually granted for temporary removal, for repairs or maintenance.
