Motorists urged to watch out for trams

THE Manx Electric Railway trams begin operating today (Saturday).

 

The trams, which travel between Douglas and Ramsey, will be crossing the roads at designated points and motorists are being advised to take care when approaching the crossings.

 

The first trams leave Derby Castle at 9:40am and Ramsey at 11:10am.

 

During March trams will be operating at weekends, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays only.

 

The full seven day timetable does not start until Saturday, April 2.
