eClub is a hit with the gaming industry

by isleofman.com 18th March 2011

MORE than 100 e-gaming professionals attended the second eClub event at the Courthouse Club in Douglas.

It was held last Thursday and was sponsored by ILS Fiduciaries.

The eClub provides a relaxing atmosphere for people in the e-gaming industry to meet and socialise and there was music by DJ Christian Clague on behalf of Vont and PokerNews.

E-gaming co-ordinator at ILS Fiduciaries Lee Hills said: "The eClub is a great place to meet professionals in the e-gaming sector.

"We were very keen to be the first independent sponsor as we recognise that it is important to give something back to the industry and support its growth and visibility on the Isle of Man.

"Last Thursday was a lot of fun and we're glad so many people turned out for it.

"It was especially pleasing to hear such positive feedback from representatives of operators."

The eClub is organised by KPMG and Continent 8 Technologies.

Head of marketing for Continent 8 Richard Ebbutt said: "We're pleased with this event's turnout.

"People from various businesses and age groups were given the opportunity to meet one another.

"We're excited with the eClub's success so far and plan to continue these events throughout the year.

"We are always looking for interested businesses to sponsor future events.

"If you would like to get involved with the eClub, please get in touch."
