Film footage of steam trains at AGM

by isleofman.com 17th March 2011

Exclusive, never before seen film footage of the north of the Island forms part of Ramsey Heritage Trust's annual general meeting this evening (Thursday).

Included are shots of steam trains running on the section of line which used to connect Ramsey with Douglas, via Peel and St John's.

Secretary of the trust Deborah Taubman says artist Michael Starkey will be showing some of his paintings of the stations along the route.

He's bringing two guests along too (play audio file):

The AGM is at Ramsey Town Hall from 7.30pm, and all are welcome to attend.
