MHK believes taxi solution can be found

An impasse between the Department of Infrastructure and taxi drivers can be resolved.

That's the view of Bill Malarkey, one of the MHKs who lobbied Minister Phil Gawne over plans to introduce an all-Island taxi licencing system.

The proposals have been put on hold by Mr Gawne, to allow time for further consultation with the taxi trade, and Mr Malarkey believes, by working with the taxi trade, a long-term solution can be found:
