THESE fantastic pictures show Davy Knowles' CD Coming Up For Air in space!

Astronaut Nicole Stott took the CD with her onboard Discovery's recent mission to the international space station.

Nicole is the wife of Manxman Chris Stott, the Isle of Man Government's honorary representative to the space community.

Davy, who now lives in America, grew up in Port St Mary and Nicole is a big fan of the blues rock guitarist and singer, taking his music into space on a previous mission in 2009.

On that occasion Davy performed a song for Nicole from NASA's mission control centre in Houston, Texas, while she was at the international space station.

Davy published these photos on Facebook and said: "Tears of happiness in my eyes. The absolute biggest honour of my life.

"Courtesy of Astronaut Nicole Stott here is a picture of my CD Coming Up For Air in orbit around Planet Earth.

"I would like to take a moment to thank the brave and wonderful people at NASA who strive to make life on earth better for all living things. Filled with thanks and love. Davy."

Nicole also took a piece of Tynwald Hill into space with her!
