by isleofman.com 16th March 2011

A YELLOW and black cordless drill has been stolen in what police are calling an "opportunistic crime".

The drill was stolen from Ridgeway Street in Douglas between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Wednesday.

The power tool was stolen from the pavement where the owner was working.

Police would like to identify two men who were seen walking down Ridgeway Street before turning right along North Quay.

PC Jenette Martin said: "The area was very busy at the time and there is a high probability that someone witnessed this opportunistic crime. I would urge anyone who may have seen anything to contact me."

Anyone with information is asked to telephone 01624 631212.
