Guernsey is looking to introduce electronic voting in its parliament, four years after the system was shown to work in Tynwald.
Proposals to introduce e-voting in States debates could be finalised by the summer after a group of deputies looked into the possibility.
States Assembly and Constitution Committee chairman Ivan Rihoy has visited Tynwald to see how the Manx voting system works, and he says the group will bring firm proposals to the States soon.
However, in keeping with Guernsey's French links, politicians there won't vote 'For' and 'Against', but will stick with 'Pour' and 'Contre'.
