Repairs for Railway Cup

The largest and arguably finest looking trophy in Manx football has been sent away to England for repairs.

The current Railway Cup was originally presented to the Isle of Man Football Association in 1925.

It has been presented every year on or around Boxing Day and is need of a full overhaul to repair various bumps and scrapes.

The cup will be restored by Sheffield Silverware.

Manx FA chief executive Frank Stennett says a full restoration is long overdue:
