by isleofman.com 15th March 2011

Cable & Wireless says a new fibre-optic network it has installed across the Isle of Man will allow businesses to trade globally.

The company says the network means it can move beyond mobile phones and become a full-service telecommunications provider .

The work saw the firm team up with Skanco and Domicilium to provide Points of Presence where customers can connect to the rest of the world.

Mike Phillips of Cable & Wireless Communications says the new infrastructure is technologically advanced and feature rich.
