Arms dealing allegations investigated

The Celtic Leagues says it's glad the Manx government is taking its responsibilities seriously when it comes to allegations of arms dealing.

Director of information for the pressure group Bernard Moffatt says Chief Minister Tony Brown has written in response to allegations a Manx-registered ship was involved in carrying rockets, mortars and bullets to Hezbollah.

In the letter, Mr Brown says both Manx and American investigations had failed to find any evidence the incident ever took place.

Mr Moffatt is welcoming the fact the claims have been looked into:
