Marine returns as Royal go down

The manager of Douglas Royal says Saturday's game was bittersweet, after one of the club's best-known players returned to the game on the day the club was relegated from the Canada life Premier League.

The match against St Mary's saw Martin Peters play for the first time since he was injured in an explosion in Afghanistan.

Royal Marine Martin was serving in Helmand province with 40 Commando when he was injured in the line of duty.

Brian Cowin says despite the loss, and dropping to a lower league, he was pleased to see Martin on the pitch:
