by isleofman.com 10th March 2011

The case of a doctor, alleged to have obtained over ?700,000 by deception, has been delayed after he applied to change his lawyer.

Dirk Heinz Hoehmann, of Ballaquine in West Baldwin, was due to enter a plea in court today (Thursday).

However, proceedings have been adjourned until a new advocate has been appointed to represent him.

Fifty-three-year-old Dr Hoehmann was an ear, nose and throat consultant at Noble's Hospital until his arrest in November last year.
