A TRADITIONAL music workshop weekend for adults will take place on March 19 and 20.
The event will take place at the Philip Christian Centre in Peel and is being held by the Manx Heritage Foundation Manx music team.
Workshops are suitable for existing traditional musicians as well as for anyone who's interested in extending their skills to a new genre.
The tutors are renowned Scottish multi-instrumentalists Anna Massie and Mairearad Green who have featured in a whole host of bands as well as performing as a critically acclaimed duo.
Individually they can be seen performing with a number of well-known artists such as The Poozies, Blazin Fiddles, Karen Matheson, Box Club, Eddi Reader and Karine Polwart and together in Scotland's one and only Celtic Big Band, The Unusual Suspects.
The talented pair play fiddle, mandolin, banjo, guitar, piano accordion and pipes and the workshops have been arranged according to greatest demand.
The option to learn general ceilidh tunes (any instrument) is also available.
Contact Breesha Maddrell on mhfmusic@mhf.org.im or ring 695784 to reserve a free place.
